Mixed Masala Dal
Ingredients:
1 cup - toor dal
1/2 cup - moong dal
2 tomatoes
1/2 onion julienned
6 dry red chilies
1 clove of garlic
1 small piece of ginger
Jeera seeds
Turmeric powder
Dhaniya powder
Chili powder
Asophoteida
Garam masala
Kasuri methi
Coriander leaves
In a cooker, take the dals, the 2 tomatoes cut into large chunks
Add turmeric, 3 red chilies, asophoteida, a pinch of chili powder, jeera powder, dhaniya powder and salt.
Add some oil and roast the mix for a while.
Add some cut coriander leaves, kasuri methi
Cook the dal.
Once the dal is cooked, blend it.
In a pot, put some julienned onions, 3 red chilis, jeera seeds, ginger and garlic
Add the dal and cook for a while, add salt if needed
Add coriander and lime.
