Ingredients:
Chicken (cut in pieces) - 1 KG (really???)
Grated Coconut - 2 tbsp
Coriander Seeds - 2 tbsp
Cinnamon - 4 pcs
Cloves - 6 nos
Onions (big) - 3
Garlic - 12 flakes
Ginger - 1'' piece
Saffron powder - 1/2 tbsp
Red chillies - 12-15 nos
Coriander leaves - a handful
Onions cut finely - 2 nos
Tomatoes - 2-3 nos
Ghee
Salt
- Fry grated coconut with ghee till brown
- Grind the fried coconut, coriander seeds, cinnamon, cloves, onions, ginger, garlic, saffron powder, red chillies & coriander into a fine paste without water.
- Remove the masala, pass water in mixer jar & keep the masala water aside
- In a vessel head 2 tbsb ghee & fry onions till brown
- Then add chicken pcs, chopped tomatoes, salt & stir on low fire for 10 mins
- Add ground masala & masala water
- Cook chicken curry until quite dry
Serve with rice or roti. enjoy.
